Jay Williamson began his association with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network (NMFN) as a college agent in 1985 before embarking on his career as a full time financial representative in 1986.

Jay Williamson has earned a number of professional designations including Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), the highest level of studies in the life insurance profession; Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), the most extensive education for financial solutions professionals; and Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a distinction rooted in education, examination, experience and ethics.

Associations and Memberships

In addition to serving as President of the Ithaca Sunrise Rotary from 1997 to 1998, Jay Williamson currently serves as an active member of the Tompkins County Estate Planning council as well as Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as a board member of the YMCA of Ithaca and Tompkins County.
